Indigenous Poetry Event at Consulate General of Mexico in Sacramento
The Consulate General of Mexico in Sacramento (2093 Arena Boulevard) cordially invites you to our first cultural event of 2020- Poetry with Indigenous Esence-. Come and join us for a two-hour celebration of the richness and beauty of the indigenous languages of Mexico, including poetry in Nahuatl and Zapotec (translation into English and Spanish), Mezcal tasting, and a Short film (Tlamikilolli- Las Hilanderas 2018) about the weaver women of the Zongolica Sierra in Veracruz, Mexico.
The event is free of charge, and open to all but please R.S.V.P with Juan Carlos Ruiz, at economicossac@sre.gob.mx
